One of the classic arguments we hear so often is that "we do not have enough sufficiently educated people to take over the administration of an independent nation".

We live in times where education has become much more fluent than before, and where the admission criteria for education has become much more accessible. The pandemic in 2021 taught us that we can take part in events all over the world without moving around. Education and training has a great potential for tearing down physical barriers.

We are colonized into a system which looks at education as "proof of qualifications". The new generation all over the globe look at education as an interest driven option for immersion. The need for a graduation paper from some institution is not seen as so critical anymore, and has been replaced by seeking a more meaningful way of achieving the knowledge to solve real problems. Many professions do not need printed proofs of education to solve the tasks we see in our administration and in the companies. We can use this trend to a great extent in the building of our nation, Kalaallit Nunaat.

Apart from this, an alternative language for education such as English will provide access to 60 times more resources than the Danish, actually 250 times more resources if we count all the English speaking and not just those using English as their first language.

There is an entire world out there - not just Denmark - and this world can take part in education us. Why not use it?
