The discussions about full independence has many aspects. Some of the most important are:

Very often we see comments that Greenland can not afford to be an independent nation, that we do not have the capability or qualifications, that we are best served by being a part of Denmark. There are even some who create the horror scenario that in an independent Kalaallit Nunaat you will cut the ties to your family in Denmark.

It has become habitual thinking that independence is not possible, and people has been brought up to fear independence, and this fear overshadows our thoughts about being free, and people are lulled into "lets talk about this when we are ready".

Instead we wish to turn the question towards: If the task is to become independent now, how do we do it?
